Latest Manchester City injury update on Kyle Walker ahead of Man City vs Real Madrid! will he play or not?
Walker missed City’s last four games because of a hamstring injury he got while playing for England last month. He really wants to be healthy for the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, so he was in the team against Luton. Guardiola knows how important Walker could be in stopping Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo’s speed and threat, but he also needs to be careful.
As much time as possible will be given to the England right back to show that he is fit, but Guardiola and the medical team will make the final choice. As important as he might be, City’s boss said that they did well in Madrid without him.
After the Luton game, Guardiola said, “He feels much better, but he was hurt, so now we will see in the next days.” “But he is fine, he believes that.”
“Being a “final,” he might be able to help with minutes, but I don’t want to lose him for a long time if he gets hurt.” His training will continue, and then we will decide.
“To play against Real Madrid, I know how important Kyle is.” He wasn’t in Madrid, though, where Manu Akanji, Josko Gvardiol, John Stones, and Ruben Dias all played very well. We’re going to see.”
Kyle Walker was back in Manchester City’s team for the game against Luton, and Pep Guardiola was asked if he could play for Real Madrid.
Kyle Walker’s season could end if he is rushed back against Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola said.
