The 26-year-old player has one more year left on his deal in Turin, and both Newcastle and Liverpool are said to be interested in signing him.

It is thought that Chiesa can be bought for around €40 million, but it is still unclear whether United would make an offer. Mostly, he plays as a left-sided forward or a second striker. The Magpies already have Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes, who can play those roles.

If there is more interest in Miguel Almiron this summer, Newcastle might be looking for a right-sided forward. However, Yankuba Minteh will have a chance to show what he can do in pre-season after his season-long loan with Feyenoord.
