Rangers winger Ross McCausland joined Aris Limassol on loan during the summer transfer window.
He is the fourth player in the Cypriot club’s squad with Rangers connections, alongside Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun, and Wes Foderingham.
Goldson is now in his second campaign in Cyprus after making 32 appearances last season, while Foderingham arrived this summer and has featured just once in the league.
McCausland has made an impressive start to life at Aris, and a permanent switch could be confirmed soon.
During the 2023/24 season, following Michael Beale’s dismissal, the Northern Irishman enjoyed more game time under interim boss Steven Davis and then Philippe Clement.
In a twist of fate, his first goal for Rangers came against Aris Limassol in the Europa League, when he replaced Todd Cantwell from the bench.
In total, McCausland played 66 matches for Rangers before sealing his loan move to Limassol, where he has already netted three times this season. He first joined Rangers’ academy from Linfield in 2019 and made his senior debut in May 2022 during a 3-1 victory over Hearts.
