Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, talked about the idea of Arne Slot taking over at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, gave Feyenoord’s new head coach, Arne Slot, a very high suggestion. Slot will take over at Anfield next season. After Xabi Alonso and Ruben Amorim were knocked out of the running, Slot has already said that he wants to move to the Premier League. The two clubs are now working on a financial package to get him to leave the Dutch team.

Slot told reporters before Feyenoord’s upcoming Eredivisie match against Go Ahead Eagles that he wanted to become Klopp’s replacement at Liverpool. He was waiting for an agreement between the clubs that would let him leave for Anfield at the end of the season, which could cost the Reds as much as £13million.

Alonso told returning chief Michael Edwards and new sports director Richard Hughes that he wasn’t interested in the job. They then stopped being interested in sports boss Amorim and made Slot their top choice to lead a new era at Anfield.

Klopp has praised his possible replacement as a coach. He has also said that he wasn’t involved in choosing his replacement, but he is excited about the idea of the Dutchman taking over in the Reds’ locker room.

Klopp told the press on Friday, “I didn’t read anything, but Arne said something.” “I’m not going to any clubs.” I really hope that if he gets the job, he is excited about it. I like the way his team plays, and everything I hear about him is good.

“Someone I know tells me. Very good coach. I think everything sounds great. The world’s best job and club. And healthy, room to get better. Wonderful people.”

To make an impression on the new Dutch head coach and go even further next year, Klopp told his team that they need to learn from their recent disappointing results. They took a big hit against Everton when they tried to send him off with a league title.
