Main reason why Belgian professional footballer and Manchester City player Kevin De Bruyne has been performing exceptionally for Belgium at Euro 2024

So far, Manchester City fans have loved seeing Kevin De Bruyne play at Euro 2024.

The 32-year-old has played in Belgium’s first two games, both of which they lost to Slovakia and then won over Romania.

During both games, De Bruyne played great.

His game against Romania, in which he scored, was especially good, and the Red Devils captain seemed eager to lead his team to an important win.

In the last few weeks of 2023–24, De Bruyne looked a little tired for City. Even though he had a lot of assists again, he wasn’t as lively as usual near the end, with Phil Foden often showing brighter than him.

But he’s been great so far at Euro 2024, and a new story explains why.

When playing for Belgium, De Bruyne has been known to look angry.

As soon as Tedesco started his new job, he made it his top goal to get along with De Bruyne. People say that one of the first things he did was call the player, and he also reportedly went to see him in person in Manchester.

De Bruyne made it clear that he did not want to be the focus of defensive plans, saying that he did not want to be like Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal. Bild added, “It was much more important to the City star that Tedesco has a clear idea for the whole team and can also stick to it.”

When playing for Belgium in the past, De Bruyne has definitely looked irritated.

At Euro 2024 so far, he has looked very sharp and determined. After the win over Romania, Ange Postecoglou said that De Bruyne may be better off because he isn’t playing as much for City.
