Manchester City
Manchester City extends a loan offer to acquire the player, as Guardiola’s presence is alluring to the midfielder.
It has been reported today that Douglas Luiz’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, has been exploring potential new clubs for several weeks and maintains strong relationships with various teams within the Premier League.
Fulham knocked on the door in November and there is also reported interest from Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Chelsea. Manchester City has presented a proposal. Pep Guardiola’s team has proposed an initial expensive loan agreement that includes an option to purchase for €35 million.
The midfielder is reportedly enticed by the prospect of being mentored by Guardiola, having previously overlooked the opportunity while under the ownership of City. The proposed transfer is presently unpersuasive to Juventus, who would only entertain the possibility of a permanent sale or a loan arrangement that includes an obligation to purchase.
The 26-year-old also possesses aspirations of demonstrating his capabilities at the esteemed Italian club. Should he ascertain that he is not pivotal to the project under Thiago Motta, the prospect of a transfer to the Premier League may acquire traction.
