In the midst of intensified competition within the Manchester City squad, forward Omar Marmoush has provided his assessment of each of the club’s primary summer acquisitions.
In both the January and summer transfer windows, the Citizens have made a plethora of signings, reflecting an active year on the transfer front.
Nico Gonzalez and Abdukodir Khusanov were among the players who joined Manchester City during the winter, including Omar Marmoush.
In the interim, City recruited Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, and James Trafford during the summer window.
Omar Marmoush asserts that Manchester City’s recent acquisitions have demonstrated their capabilities.
Marmoush emphasized the significance of competition for positions within the club during his conversation with the City media team.
“City’s summer signings have already demonstrated their quality,” the Egypt international comments.
Trafford made his City debut away at Wolves, while three of the new signings—Reijnders, Ait-Nouri, and Cherki—appeared at the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to the City website, Marmoush stated, “We have observed their qualities since the first day of the training session.”

What Pep Guardiola has stated regarding Manchester City’s recent acquisitions
Pep Guardiola was impressed by his new recruits following the 4-0 victory over Wolves.
Simultaneously, he was not unduly surprised, as he believes that the club has consistently been reliable in its recruitment efforts.
“The club consistently recruits exceptional players,” stated Guardiola.
“I have never encountered a player lacking in quality in the Premier League, not only at Man City, but in general.”
