Because Kevin De Bruyne’s future at Manchester City is unclear this summer, the city is thinking about making a £68 million offer for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. This is what The Mirror says, and Eze is said to have Tottenham and other Premier League teams on high alert.

De Bruyne, 33, only has one year left on his deal, and Saudi Arabia is very interested in signing him this summer. Signing with Saudi Arabia would be a good financial move for the Belgium captain. On the other hand, Eze got more attention on the big stage when he played for England in the Euro 2024 final, where they lost to France.

Last season, he played in 31 games for Palace and scored 11 goals and set up six others. This was enough to book a late flight. The 26-year-old is locked in at Selhurst Park until 2027, and he has a release option of more than £60 million.

Even though Pep Guardiola denied rumors that De Bruyne would be leaving City this summer, the team is still looking at their choices to get stronger. Guardiola talked about his longtime star player while City was on tour in the United States. De Bruyne was said to be open to an offer from Al-Ittihad, and it was even said that he had “agreed” to the terms.

Another story from The Daily Mail says that City is talking to Borussia Dortmund about selling Yan Couto. The German team wants to sign him. Couto, 22, joined the Premier League winners from Coritiba. He has played four times for the senior Brazil national team, but has never played for City.

He has been on loan to Girona twice and to SC Braga before. He could be leaving for good, though, since Couto is believed to demand up to £25 million and Dortmund is the team most likely to sign him.

Last season, Couto played 34 La Liga games for Girona. His deal with City ends in the summer of 2019.
