Manchester City has approved an offer, facilitating the immediate transfer of the player, following the decisive position taken by Guardiola’s team.
On Monday, Leila Pereira, the president of Palmeiras, disclosed that discussions are currently underway with Manchester City following their submission of an official offer for Vitor Reis.
This may represent one of the factors influencing Reis’s decision to depart from his club during the winter transfer window.
The report indicates that Manchester City has elevated their offer to €35 million and has made significant progress in their negotiations with Palmeiras.
UOL has also reported a recent development concerning the transfer of the defender to Manchester City that has emerged in the past few hours. It has been reported that Palmeiras has consented to the proposal put forth by the Premier League champions for the central defender.
Manchester City’s offer ranges from €30 million to €35 million, and it is anticipated that Reis will transfer to the Etihad Stadium imminently in January. Both ESPN and UOL report that the South American club has not yet verified its acceptance of the offer extended by the Citizens.
