Man City has set its sights on a sensational deal for Geovany Quenda. Football Insider has been
informed by sources that Manchester City are interested in signing Sporting winger Geovany Quenda. Connor Humm, a journalist for Football Insider, disclosed that the Portuguese team has one of the “best academies in Europe” during the most recent episode of the Inside Track podcast. Cristiano Ronaldo is the most notable example of the high-quality players that Sporting has consistently produced over the years. Man City is currently monitoring Quenda, a 17-year-old winger who has become a regular in the squad this season, as one of Sporting’s next star projects.
This season, the right-winger has made 13 appearances in all competitions, contributing one assist and one goal. Quenda has also made two appearances for Portugal Under-21s as he continues to develop and advance his career.
