Manchester City is getting ready to play again in the Premier League this weekend.

On Saturday, City will play Wolves at the Etihad Stadium in an effort to keep their title hopes alive. Arsenal is in first place, but Pep Guardiola’s team is only one point behind them with a game in hand. Arsenal plays Bournemouth a few hours before City’s game.

There was a win for City over Nottingham Forest over the weekend, thanks to goals from Josko Gvardiol and Erling Haaland. After beating Tottenham Hotspur, City kept their one-point lead in the title race with their win.

City did not feel fully fit after the trip to the City Ground, though. MEN Sport looks at City’s current list of injuries and possible comeback dates.

John Ederson

The most recent City player to get hurt is Ederson. He will probably be out for a while.

At halftime of City’s win over Forest, the goalie was taken off and Stefan Ortega came on in his place. Later, after the game, he was seen with his arm in a sling, and Guardiola said that he didn’t think he would get better quickly.

The manager said, “It doesn’t look good.” “We see tomorrow with the doctor.”

Date of expected return: Not known

Foden, Phil

Because he was sick, Phil Foden missed City’s win over Forest and wasn’t in the team that played.

City will have had almost a week to get ready for their next Premier League game. To make sure Foden is ready to play this weekend against Wolves, Guardiola and his team will have to wait until the game starts.

When they should be back: Wolves (H) – May 4

Rubén Dias

Because he was sick, Ruben Dias also missed City’s win over Forest and did not go to the City Ground.

Like Foden, City will be hoping that Dias gets better quickly and can play against Wolves this weekend.
