Manchester City officially release their price tag for the Brazilian footballer Savinho club exit

Savinho’s destiny at Manchester City remains uncertain.

The Brazilian winger has been a critical component of Pep Guardiola’s strategy this summer, having started in three of the four games that City played at the FIFA Club World Cup. Additionally, he was a member of the strongest squad that faced Palermo at the weekend.

Nevertheless, Tottenham’s pursuit of Savinho has reignited the transfer window for Manchester City, and it is uncertain how far the North London club will go to secure the 21-year-old.

Spurs’ initial offer of £42 million was rejected by the Manchester club. However, City have now communicated to their Premier League counterparts the conditions necessary to achieve a deal for the youngster.

Man City is seeking to sell Savinho for £76 million this summer.

Tottenham are also in the process of negotiating a deal for Eberechi Eze in distinct from their interest in Savinho, in the event that they are unable to secure a deal for the Manchester City star.

Tottenham have been informed that the 21-year-old’s signature will require £67m, although the North London club’s willingness to pay a premium for the Brazilian is questionable.

Jorge Nicola, a Brazilian journalist, has disclosed on his YouTube channel that Savinho’s agent, Frederico Moraes, has verified the asking price. He has also disclosed that the initial offer that Man City denied was indeed worth £42m (€50m).

Tottenham is aware of their obligations at this time, and it is highly probable that they will acquire the Manchester City player if they agree to the asking price. Savinho is rumoured to be amenable to relocating to North London.

Man City does not wish to allow Savinho to depart this summer; however, they will prioritise the expeditious completion of a transaction in order to facilitate the recruitment of a replacement by Guardiola.

Savinho has the potential to become a top-tier player at Manchester City.
Nedum Onuoha is of the opinion that Savinho has the potential to become a top-tier talent at the Etihad Stadium and is opposed to his departure from the club.

The 21-year-old Brazilian has achieved commendable results in the past two seasons. Prior to his transfer to Manchester last summer, he was a standout for Girona. In his new team, he contributed three goals and 13 assists.

Savinho scored 11 goals in La Liga the previous campaign, and it is undeniable that the wide player can surpass that total at City, particularly after spending a year in the Premier League.

Guardiola appears to regard the Brazil international as a starter for the upcoming season; however, Manchester City must now resist the urge to transfer the 21-year-old.
