Manchester City striker Erling Haaland brutally responded back to Roy Keane verdict on Nottingham Forest vs Man City match win (0-2)
Manchester City kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal with a 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest, who are in danger of being relegated.
As long as his team wins, Erling Haaland doesn’t care how they play for Manchester City. They just beat Nottingham Forest 2-0.
The Blues weren’t playing their best in the first half, but Josko Gvardiol scored a shot from a corner kick to put them ahead at halftime. Forest had several chances throughout the game, but City sealed the win with 20 minutes left when Haaland scored a goal under Matz Sels.
Keane then said that he thought City would win all of their remaining Premier League games, but he still told them not to repeat their first 45 minutes. But Haaland didn’t care as much about how his team played at this point as the former City captain did.
Not how we do it, he said, “First of all, it’s a win. That’s the most important thing.” It’s great to be back.
“We know where Forest is in the table, so we knew there would be a fight.” It’s not the most comfortable field to play on, but we can’t complain because the goal is to win the football game, which we did.
“Three points, get in, shower, onto the next.” City are now one point behind Arsenal, who are in first place and have played one more game than Pep Guardiola’s team.
Roy Keane said that City would be worried about how they played in the first half after the game. He told Sky Sports: “They’ll certainly be worried with the chances they gave up in the first half but listen, in the second quarter they were a lot more assertive and it’s not an ideal choice bringing players on like Haaland.”
