Manchester United captain got a new decision on the Red Card scandal against Tottenham

Manchester United lost badly to Tottenham Hotspur 3-0, and Bruno Fernandes was sent off. VAR agreed with the decision made by on-field judge Chris Kavanagh.

Dermot Gallagher thinks that ejecting Bruno Fernandes was the wrong thing to do.

The Manchester United captain got his first red card of his United career moments before halftime in Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.

On-field referee Chris Kavanagh quickly showed the player a red card, and video review agreed with the call that the Portuguese player’s move was serious foul play. So, until he files an appeal, he will miss the club’s next three Premier League games, which will put more pressure on his boss, Erik ten Hag.

Gallagher, a former referee in the Premier League, said on the Sky Sports show Ref Watch that he thought the official made the wrong call and that his view of what happened was clouded.
