Manchester United F.C. Midfielder Sofyan Amrabat announces transfer decision for the summer window

Sofyan Amrabat, a player on loan from Fiorentina to Manchester United, has decided he does not want to go back to his home club when his time at Old Trafford is over.

In a season full of ups and downs, Amrabat’s trip to England has been a disappointment.

A lot of people were excited when the Moroccan playmaker moved to Manchester at the end of the summer transfer window. But he hasn’t really helped the team this year, and since Christmas, he hasn’t really played at all, except for a few ten-minute cameos at the end of games.

Because of this, it has been clear for a long time that neither Amrabat nor United want to work together again after this season.

Juventus and AC Milan are two Italian teams that have been linked to the Moroccan player. The player wants to move back to the place where he made his name, so he wants to join these teams. It was said here, though, that the San Siro team would not be interested in a deal for the Moroccan player.

Amrabat has even been mentioned with surprise moves to Liverpool and Fulham, both of whom play in the Premier League. However, it doesn’t seem likely that he would accept such offers, given how badly he has done this season.

The midfielder’s future won’t be at Old Trafford, that much is clear. The next stop is less clear.

In any case, the Italian news site Tutto Mercato says that his future is also definitely not in Florence. Someone wrote, “Sofyan Amrabat is at the end of his adventure at Manchester United.”

But “on the player’s side, it’s clear they don’t want to stay in Florence. This was clear when Manchester United made their offer a year ago.”

Fiorentina is said to be unhappy with how the player has played at Old Trafford and angry that his value has dropped since he has been in England.

No matter where he goes, Amrabat will have to start over with his career after making a name for himself during Morocco’s run to the 2022 World Cup semifinals.

We do know that this next step will not be at Manchester United or Fiorentina, though.
