Andre Onana wants everyone connected with Manchester United to work together before this weekend’s FA Cup final at Wembley.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana is sure that the return of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane will give Manchester United a big boost before their FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday.

Martinez started in United’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on the last day of the Premier League season. It was the first time he had played since February 4. The Reds won their second straight game thanks to goals from Diogo Dalot and Rasmus Hojlund in the second half.

For the second time, Varane came off the bench to replace Sofyan Amrabat after halftime, just like Hojlund had done. He hadn’t played since April 4, when he lost a tense 4–3 game to Chelsea.

This season, both players, especially Martinez, have been greatly missed at times. As a result, United haven’t had the chance to regularly use their best center-back pairing. Varane will be leaving United this summer, as was reported last week. If he is chosen to play at Wembley on Saturday, it will be his last game for the club.

Erik ten Hag will choose a starting lineup, but Onana is sure that having players like Martinez and Varane back to choose from will improve their chances of winning a trophy at the end of the season.

“One hundred percent,” Onana told MUTV when asked if the return of the two players in question was a good sign. “One hundred percent. It makes us happy to see them on the field because they are very important to us.

It would be great if we could all be at Wembley on Saturday. We need everyone.” There must be a lot of players and fans here because the game is going to be very tough. In hard times, they have to be there like they always have been.

“Saturday, we must be there together because only together are we going to win this trophy.”
