Manchester United Loanee Jadon Sancho break silence and give his decision on him returning to Manchester United or not?

Erik ten Hag said he had “drawn a line” under their argument, so Sancho played again in a pre-season match against Rangers for Man United.

What it says about Jadon Sancho is that he hasn’t even hinted at his return to Manchester United.

Manuel Akanji and Erling Haaland, who used to play together at Borussia Dortmund and now play for Manchester City, got birthday wishes from Sancho on his Instagram Story. In a different post, I wrote about another friend’s birthday. Sancho hasn’t shared or written anything about his return to training with United or his game on Saturday against Rangers.

United isn’t mentioned in his bio, and any Instagram posts about the team have been taken down. Many people dream of playing for Manchester United, but Sancho seems to find it annoying.

The last thing Sancho wrote on his account was on June 3, and it was about his loan at Dortmund. That’s stuck to his Instagram and X pages. There is a lot of quiet.

After coming back in January, Sancho called Dortmund “home.” It wasn’t cozy enough in the home. Dortmund gave his number ten to Julian Brandt on the day he got back to Carrington.

Dortmund thought it would be hard for United to get even close to the £40 million they think Sancho is worth. According to the Premier League’s rules on making money and staying in the league, the minimum fee needs to be £29.16m. This is because Sancho is three years into a five-year deal after signing for £72.9m in 2021.

United did the right thing by leaving Sancho out of their photo gallery of happy players and staff leaving Carrington for Manchester Airport on Wednesday afternoon. When Sancho met with Erik ten Hag two weeks ago, they talked about “past issues.” Even though he is now a star player, Sancho still feels like he is part of the past at United.

Saturday at Murrayfield, Ten Hag was talking to reporters when Sancho squeaked by. Someone at work said he had a funny smile on his face. An appropriate exit.

Now there needs to be a fixed exit. The first leg of Sancho’s Champions League semi-final game impressed Paris Saint-Germain enough for the French team to talk about making a move for the winger. As gently as Ten Hag has talked about a player who has been available for a little over six months during his two seasons as United manager, that would be best for everyone.

PSG looked like a natural fit for Marcus Rashford, but there hasn’t been much progress in that area. Ten Hag tried to make things better with Rashford, a player he punished twice last season. He started Rashford in the FA Cup final and told him privately that Gareth Southgate was “crazy” to leave him out of the England team. Rashford was then confused when Ten Hag said that Rashford was “lacking” last season on Dutch TV during the European Championship.

Dortmund is still interested in Sancho, and United has also been called by Juventus about him. United is trying to keep things as peaceful as possible, but the club’s edited video of training last week made it look like he was late when he wasn’t.

In a different conversation in his native language, Ten Hag called Sancho a “terribly good player.” However, United hasn’t seen much of that during his three years there. No matter how fast and strong Sancho is, he is not the right kind of player for United, and they need to let him go.

Southgate quickly got it when he told Sancho he couldn’t play at the 2021 Euros because of how he was working. Staff at England were also not pleased by Sancho’s repeated refusal to do media appearances. Since September 2021, he has been banned from the national team squad.

It was during Sancho’s half against Rangers that he played very well and should have scored, but his shot went over the crossbar. Amad and Leny Yoro, who are very much United’s present and future, stole the show, which was good for Sancho.

Last year, Sancho worked hard on tour while United tried him out as a false nine. He scored in New Jersey against Arsenal, and he was a better choice to start the season up front than Rashford, who was having trouble.

Ten Hag chose Rashford for the first two games, as expected, and as soon as a striker was healthy enough, he chose Anthony Martial for the third game against Nottingham Forest. Sancho hadn’t been on a United team that played well since then.

This year, United has a real number nine in Rasmus Hojlund. He needs a great preseason because he missed United’s most important part of last season. Amad and Antony can play on the right, but Rashford is clearly the best choice on the left, even though he missed both of last week’s matches because of injury. Mason Mount, Christian Eriksen, and Scott McTominay can play behind Hojlund.

There were no boos for Sancho in Edinburgh, which may make Harry Maguire scratch his head. Pre-season groups aren’t always a good indicator of how fans feel, but in the last two years, Maguire has been booed in Australia, the US, and Ireland.

A United employee said Maguire’s treatment at the MCG in Melbourne, which is known as the “Cricket Mecca,” was due to the way people joke around in Australia. Even though Shane Warne is buried outside the stadium, he would have loved that spin.

Like Sancho, United fans didn’t say anything about the speedster.
