Manchester United player Amad break silence and delivers his verdict on his transfer this summer
Amad joined Man United almost four years ago, but it wasn’t until May that he made his first real start. It took a long time.
Amad has said that he wants to stay at Manchester United for the rest of his career.
Recently, the 22-year-old moved agents and is now with the same firm as Alejandro Garnacho, who plays with him. Amad’s United deal is coming to an end, but the club can add one more year if they want to.
The Manchester Evening News said earlier this summer that Amad is seen as an important part of the team because of how well the team did in the second half of last season. “Yeah, why not?” When asked if he planned to stay longer than his deal, Amad said yes. “I’m glad to be here. The fact that I smile at everyone makes me think they are happy with me. “Why don’t I live here forever?”
If you count the nine games Amad played in earlier this season, this was only his fourth start for United and his first under boss Erik ten Hag. It was against Arsenal in May. The player, who is from the Ivory Coast, started the last three Premier League games of the season but didn’t play in the FA Cup final.
The former Atalanta striker hurt his knee against Arsenal in United’s first pre-season tour game in New Jersey last year. He missed five months of play because of it.
“It was not easy for me to get an injury in pre-season last season,” he said. “I was out for a long time, but the most important thing was to get better and help the team. I was proud of what I did in the end.” It’s now present time for me; I forgot about the past.
“I think the manager is great, and I’m really excited to start the season.” Even though I didn’t play much last season, I’m really excited for this one because I think it will be great for everyone.
“I believe everyone wants to play, which is why you have to do your best in practice to fight for a spot in the starting eleven.” Everyone needs to play. The boss is the only one who can decide who plays and who sits on the bench because we have a good team with good players like Antony, Sancho, Garnacho, and Rashford.
“But you have to be ready even when you’re not playing; you can watch the game from the bench.” “Everyone on the team is important.”
