Manchester United player Mason Mount breaks silence and sends out a strong message ahead of next Premier league season 2024/25
News about Manchester United as Mason Mount gets ready for the new season with a clear message
Mason Mount gave a short, three-word speech about Manchester United before the start of his second season with the team. He was hurt a lot last season and only played 20 times, but the 25-year-old is now getting ready to be an even bigger part of Erik ten Hag’s team.
Mount missed most of his first year at Old Trafford after moving there for a lot of money from Chelsea last summer, which was bad for Ten Hag. Mount was going to be an important part of the head coach’s middle plans and a key member of a high-energy, pressing team.
Mount had trouble getting fit again after having problems during his last year at Stamford Bridge. He only started eight games across all categories. Because of this, it wasn’t until late March that he scored his first and only goal for the club.
Mount missed the last three league games after briefly coming back into the team over Easter. He was allowed to come on as a substitute in the FA Cup final, though.
Now that he is getting ready to try to get back to the level of play that made him a regular for England in the previous seasons, he has sent a strong message to the people.
Mount wrote something online about United for the first time in over a month to promote the new Snapdragon-sponsored kit. He wrote, “Ready to rise.” Mount seems ready to try to get himself back into people’s minds, as shown by a picture of him wearing his stylish red home shirt.
Next season, Kobbie Mainoo, who didn’t play a game with Mount until March, will be a threat in the middle of the field. Now, the two will try to get important jobs under Ten Hag for the next season.
