Liverpool
Manchester United vs Liverpool player ratings as match ended in a draw (2-2)
A draw between Man United and Liverpool in the Premier League. Here’s how the teams did at Old Trafford.
Andre Onana
Dominik Szoboszlai made a great save, but he also had to block other shots as Liverpool tried to go ahead 2-0 but failed. 7
It’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Lost Darwin Nunez for the corner that Liverpool scored from in a game that was prone to panic. claimed to have helped Kobbie Mainoo in a way that didn’t make sense, but they gave up a penalty anyway. 5
Willy Kambwala
His only second start for United, and Erik ten Hag praised the comeback tackle he made at 1-0 that helped United tie the game. 7
Harry Maguire
Held the fort bravely with Kambwala, his fifth different partner of the season, and won all of their aerial battles. Stand firm in defense. 7
Diogo Dalot
Did more defense than offense in the first half, but took the lead more in the second half when Liverpool let United take the lead. 6
Casemiro
missed a good header by trying to find a partner, and kicked the ball out, which made the crowd angry. In the second, be smarter with the ball. 5
Kobbie Mainoo
He was blocked for an hour before scoring his first goal at Old Trafford, which gave United a 2-1 lead over Liverpool. It was the best shot of his career. 7
Alejandro Garnacho
He had to switch sides for the 29th game in a row, but he kept going and helped set up Mainoo’s goal. 6
Bruno Fernandes
Had a bad start to the first half with a late pass to Garnacho, and things only got worse. Then he scored a beautiful equalizer out of nowhere. 7
Mark Rashford
An intentional sliding hit early in the first half was the only reason Rashford was brought back, and he had to leave the game in the 66th minute with an injury. 4
Marcus Rashford
It was a bad matchup against Virgil van Dijk for the second month in a row, but any scorer would have lost in the first half because there wasn’t a clear plan. 5
Subs
Antony
It was too bad he didn’t get to start, and he came on just before United scored. 6
By Sofyan Amrabat
He came on to protect the lead, but after Salah tied the game, he had to change his mind. 5
mount
Given some energy and made a reservation.
In charge of
Rashford was called up because Antony was supposedly too busy to start again. Helped by Liverpool’s careless play and two amazing goals. 5
For Caoimhin Kelleher 7
Not at all involved in the first half, and neither of United’s goals gave them a chance. Being alert will help stop Rashford’s attempt.
Conor Bradley 7
busy with Rashford for the first 15 minutes, but then pushed the United star back and became a major threat on attack. Booked and filled in.
Jarell Quansah 6
Stayed calm, especially when United was able to counter in the first half with several players on the field. A terrible mistake let the home team back into the game, but they played very well after that.
Virgil van Dijk 7
Before the break, it was a little too easy for the Dutchman because there wasn’t much of a threat at home. The second half was harder, but the level stayed the same.
Andy Robertson 7
Hands were full defending against Garnacho at first, but they soon made the most of the huge space they had in front of him, and a corner kick set off the goal. Good to talk to Diaz about.
Wataru Endo 6
Good when they had the ball, but sometimes found the United breaks too hot to handle, and they missed the second goal. Put in.
Dominik Szoboszlai 6
Asked for good Onana made a save early on, but then they missed a good chance to score the first goal. Sometimes suspicious on the defensive. Put in.
Alexis Mac Allister 8
Great with the ball and often found huge gaps in space. At the center of many Liverpool moves. United kept having problems with probing the whole time.
Mohamed Salah 7
He was a constant threat down the right in the first half, but he missed a few chances to score before halftime, even though he did make Onana work. Missed a big chance to tie the game, but stayed calm and scored from the penalty spot to tie it.
Darwin Nunez 6
They flicked the ball on for the first goal, but they could have made more chances if they had been a little more careful in the first half. At the start of the second half, they missed a simple chance. Put in.
Luis Diaz 7
improvised and responded well to score, and they ran at Dalot nonstop in the first half, winning and keeping the ball the whole time. After the break, kept going as Liverpool tried to get back on track, but missed a late chance.
SUBS
Joe Gomez (for Bradley 66) 6
He stuck to his defending duties and tried to help the attack whenever he could.
Curtis Jones (for Szoboszlai) 7
Not quite as good as last week, but it helped Liverpool keep the ball. Made a reservation.
Harvey Elliott (for Endo 69) 8
Once again made a big difference with his quick work and skill, which earned the penalty.
Cody Gakpo (for Nunez 69) 7
Fouls were the only thing that stopped some strong runs from deeper areas.
