Michael Stewart has estimated that Kieran Tierney would be interested in a return to Celtic at a reduced price. Transfer of Jota
Michael Stewart’s estimate for a discounted Jota transfer suggests that Kieran Tierney would be amenable to a return to Celtic.
Michael Stewart believes that Celtic have a significant opportunity to re-sign Kieran Tierney at Parkhead.
Additionally, he believes that Brendan Rodgers would be compelled to accept a reduced-price offer for former Hoops player Jota in January.
Mikel Arteta has excluded Scotland defender Tierney from Arsenal’s first team. With only six months remaining on his contract, Tierney is free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with clubs outside of England beginning January 1.
Stewart, a pundit, does not exclude the possibility of Tierney returning to Celtic on a permanent basis, and Arsenal may consider selling the full back during the upcoming month’s transfer window.
Stewart also believes that the Hoops would be foolish not to attempt to re-sign Jota from Rennes if he is available for a fraction of the price they paid for him when they transferred him to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2023.
He stated on the Premier Sports Scottish Football Social Club, “There has been a significant amount of speculation and discussion regarding Kieran Tierney, who has six months remaining on his contract.”
I have a feeling that Kierann Tierney would be amenable to returning to Celtic. I really believe that he would. Could that occur in January? I would not disregard it.
Additionally, there is a slight amount of discussion and murmur regarding Jota at Stade Rennais. The new manager has appeared to indicate that Jota is not entirely healthy, despite the fact that he is a critical player.
There are few and far between these types of participants for the amount of money that can potentially be obtained.Darrell Currie, a distinguished broadcast journalist and host, further stated, ”
I have had the opportunity to converse with Kieran on numerous occasions over the years.” and the number of times he has expressed a desire to return at some point in his career. It appears that the constellations are aligning somewhat in this location.
