Names of the ten (10) players to miss Kilmarnock v Rangers match clash today

All the latest injury updates ahead of Kilmarnock vs Rangers in the Scottish Premiership at Rugby Park.

Rangers aim to get back to winning form on Saturday night when they travel to Rugby Park to take on Stuart Kettlewell’s Kilmarnock (8pm kick-off). Danny Rohl began his tenure with four straight league victories, but momentum has dipped recently following back-to-back draws — including Wednesday’s 2-2 result at Dundee United, rescued by Nedim Bajrami’s stoppage-time penalty.

Kilmarnock, meanwhile, haven’t won in eight matches, though their morale will have been lifted by Wednesday’s dramatic 1-1 draw at Hearts, thanks to Bruce Anderson’s late equaliser.

Both sides head into the weekend dealing with significant injury problems, with ten players already ruled out and Rohl considering making three changes for the trip.

1. John Souttar – Rangers – OUT

Picked up a muscle injury during Scotland duty, aggravating the issue during the warm-up before their 4-2 win over Denmark. Still unavailable for selection.

2. Max Stryjek – Kilmarnock – OUT

Underwent surgery earlier this week due to a heart-related issue and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

3. Derek Cornelius – Rangers – OUT

The Canadian defender remains out after sustaining a muscle injury last month and is expected to miss more time.

4. Jamie Brandon – Kilmarnock – OUT

Still struggling with an injury that has disrupted much of his season to date.

5. Kieran Dowell – Rangers – DOUBT

Recovering from a long-term foot problem that has kept him out since August. Featured in a reserve match recently and is pushing to make the squad.

6. Mohamed Diomande – Rangers – POSSIBLE START

Has been on the bench for the last two matches but will hope to regain his starting spot this weekend.

7. Dujon Sterling – Rangers – POSSIBLE START

Returned to the bench against Dundee United after a long spell out with an Achilles issue. In contention to start at Rugby Park.

8. Matty Kennedy – Kilmarnock – OUT

Continuing to miss out due to a hamstring injury.

9. Djenairo Daniels – Kilmarnock – OUT

Suffered a major knee injury while on international duty and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

10. Mikey Moore – Rangers – OUT

The Tottenham loanee is sidelined with a muscle problem but is expected to return later this month.
