Names of the two top Celtic F.C. players that were officially removed from the Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 squad to play against Denmark for the World Cup qualifiers match

Even though the right back played through pain, he won’t be able to play for his country until he heals. His friend Kieran Tierney has also quit Steve Clarke’s team and is now also sitting on the bench.

There are no reports of a specific injury in the former Arsenal back, but Celtic are taking extra care of him after a string of inconsistent seasons.

Tierney has played in all seven of Celtic’s competitive games since coming back to the club this summer, but he hasn’t played the full 90 minutes yet. Because of his past of injuries and the fact that his game time is being closely watched, Celtic are being extra careful, which makes sense.

Tierney hasn’t played regularly in years, so his withdrawal doesn’t necessarily mean he’s hurt again, but it does show that the club is being careful about his health.

With Alistair Johnston already out for a long time and Ralston having trouble, Brendan Rodgers can’t afford to lose any more important defenders.

For the sake of Celtic, let’s hope Tierney’s absence is just for safety reasons and he’ll be fully fit for next weekend’s game against Kilmarnock.
