Newcastle United F.C co-owner and director Amanda Staveley break silence and sent out a brutal message to fans and the whole team over recent “resignation” updates
Although the Ripon financier has been away on club business in Saudi Arabia, it is anticipated that he will return to the director’s box for the midweek Premier League match that will take place at Crystal Palace the following week. The “resignations” that were declared on paperwork by Companies House were nothing more than business housekeeping, as was reported by Chronicle Live earlier this week. Staveley and co-director Jamie Reuben continue to be totally devoted to the black and white cause.
“Just arrived back from Saudi and noticed a lot of messages from fans concerned that I had stepped down from my role as a Director of Newcastle United,” Staveley wrote in a post that he published on Instagram. The adjustments that were made to non-trading subsidiaries last week were mainly administrative in nature, so I have not changed any of them.
Immediately following the takeover, Jamie and I assumed the roles of directors for all of the firms until we were able to construct an executive team. Both the ‘top-co’ and the Board continue to include us.
Amanda Staveley, a co-owner of Newcastle United, has addressed her supporters on social media following claims that she had resigned from her position.
Amanda Staveley has assured supporters that she will remain with Newcastle United for the foreseeable future by stating that she has no intention of quitting her current position and pledging her commitment to the club.
I would want to express my gratitude to everyone for the tremendous support they have continued to provide over the past few years, and in especially to those who have taken the time to offer their views. To be a part of your community is a privilege and a source of great pride for me, as we have the most devoted supporters in the entire world.
The misunderstanding that occurred earlier this week was caused by the fact that Newcastle United Football Club Limited is a dormant company, yet Staveley and Reuben are still listed as active on the paperwork that cover Newcastle United Football Company Limited. As a result of her initial 10 percent stake in the club being eroded to six percent earlier this year as a result of a capital injection by fellow investors, Staveley has resigned from a number of other firms that are affiliated with Newcastle United.
According to the documents that are kept by Companies House, Staveley has resigned from a number of other clubs, including Newcastle United Group Limited, Newcastle United Television Limited, St. James’ Park Limited, Newcastle United Promotions Limited, and NUFC Limited.
