Newcastle United may get the chance to get interested in a Serie A player again after allegedly making a move last summer.

Tuttosport says that Juventus will look at offers for Federico Chiesa in the summer.

A number of Premier League teams, including Newcastle United, are interested in the Italian attacker.

The Magpies were eager to get a second Italian player because they wanted to give Eddie Howe more options in wide areas.

They had already been to Italy’s top league once, when they paid £60 million for Sandro Tonali, a defender for AC Milan.

Federico Chiesa, a star player for Juventus, was said to be interested in the Magpies before they focused on their successful chase of Harvey Barnes after he left Leicester City.

Newcastle United has been urged to sign him. Chiesa’s reaction to being removed in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Torino showed that he is not completely happy at Juventus.

As stated by Tuttosport, the Italian attacker’s future is becoming less clear as his contract with Juventus runs out in 2025.

The attacking player is getting more and more angry at boss Massimiliano Allegri.

The Turin-based newspaper says that official talks about a new contract have not yet started, but that both Juventus and their attacker are thinking about their options before the summer.

Now is the time for Newcastle United to sign Chiesa.

The 26-year-old winger scored eight goals and set up two others in 29 games across all competitions as his team tries to make it into the Champions League for next season. They came back from being far behind league leaders Inter Milan.

As the summer trade window gets closer, people are talking more and more about Chiesa’s future.

The 45-times-capped Italy international’s current deal at the Allianz Stadium is coming to the end of its 12th year, and the Italian newspaper TuttoSport says that Juventus will be looking at bids for the player and may decide to sell him.
