Newcastle United F.C. Midfielder Ryan Fraser break silence and sends out a message permanent transfer link to Southampton
The permanent transfer of Ryan Fraser to Southampton has been verified by Newcastle United.
Fraser had been associated with a transfer to the south coast for the duration of the summer following an exceptional loan stint at St Mary’s during the previous season. Conversely, the likelihood of Fraser returning to Southampton diminished as the transfer window progressed. Russell Martin even acknowledged earlier this month that he was uncertain whether the club would be able to finalize a deal for Fraser.
Martin stated to TalkSport, “I am uncertain as to whether or not that will transpire.” Newcastle United is responsible for this.
“I admire Ryan as a player and as a person, and he performed exceptionally well for us last season.” He was exceedingly well-liked by the staff, admirers, and dressing room.
“However, we are still far from concluding a deal with Ryan.” The more time passes, the more improbable it appears.
Nevertheless, Newcastle United has announced that Fraser has concluded his four-year tenure at the club and has re-joined Martin’s squad with just over an hour remaining in the summer transfer window. Martin described the Scotland international as a “quality” player, and the Saints have verified that Fraser has returned to the club as a free agent.
We are all thrilled to have Wee Man return, as he played such a significant role in our squad last season, both on the field and in the dressing room. Southampton’s club website was informed by Martin.
“His quality and creativity were evident to all, and he delivered in numerous significant moments for us.” What many individuals outside of the building will not have observed is the impact he had on the group off the pitch. It is an incredible opportunity for us to retain an individual who possesses both exceptional talent and the same level of character.
