Newcastle United injury list and return dates: Alexander Isak, Sven Botman, and Lewis Hall
In the past week, Newcastle has suffered numerous setbacks, including the suspension of Anthony Gordon and the necessity of surgery for both Lewis
Hall and Sven Botman to resolve injury-related issues. However, Kieran Trippier and Alexander Isak caused concern after they were substituted during the 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion at St James’ Park on Sunday.
Newcastle will play against West Ham United in the Premier League on Monday night (8pm kick-off), followed by the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on Sunday, March 16 (4:30pm kick-off) at Wembley Stadium, all before the international break.
The following is Newcastle United’s current injury/unavailable manifest, along with the anticipated return dates of the players. Alexander Isak is experiencing fatigue. Although Isak was initially a cause for concern following his departure from the Brighton match on Sunday, he has since been observed in training at Darsley Park in the week leading up to the West Ham United tour.
I am reflecting on this week and believe he has trained daily; he is proficient. When enquired if Isak will commence against West Ham, Howe responded: “Fingers crossed, yes.”
If he is fit, he will participate, as this is the optimal method to enhance his physical condition for upcoming matches. Projected return date = West Ham (away) – 10/03/25 Kieran Trippier – returning Trippier exited early during the match against Brighton due to a back ailment but has subsequently trained in preparation for the match against West Ham.
