Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes delivers an honest verdict about the disgraceful Newcastle United match defeat against Fulham
Newcastle United news: Bruno Guimaraes says sorry again after making a mistake for Fulham
Bruno Guimaraes has admitted that he was to blame for Newcastle United’s awful 3-1 loss to Fulham on Saturday. The Brazilian was having a tough game. He made a terrible mistake that led to Reiss Nelson scoring the game-winning goal.
After a good start to the season in terms of wins, the way they lost at Craven Cottage has caused worry. Not only were the Magpies not good enough against Fulham, but they also made mistakes that hurt them.
Raul Jimenez helped Marco Silva’s team get ahead early on. Emile Smith Rowe made their lead two goals, but Harvey Barnes cut it in half after halftime. But the game was over when Guimaraes’ risky pass went wrong and Reiss Nelson scored past Nick Pope.
The traveling fans in London were told he was sorry by Guimaraes when the game ended. The Brazilian held up his hands in front of the away fans and then said sorry on social media.
He wrote on Instagram, “I’m a man enough to take responsibility for my mistakes!” “It was a rough day for everyone,” he said in his story. “But I’m not going to hide!” We need to get better as a group and as individuals, and I’m fully on board with that. Do your best to make things better.
Newcastle will feel better after hearing what Guimaraes had to say before a busy week. The team led by Eddie Howe plays AFC Wimbledon in the League Cup on Tuesday night. The following Saturday, they host Manchester City in the Premier League.
