Newcastle United reveals the name of their sensational player who will be absent for the next three (3) matches in the Premier League
Eddie Howe has stated that Fabian Schar will not play on Sunday against Bournemouth.
In the first half of Saturday’s win over Southampton, Schar was sent off for a foul on Ben Brereton Diaz that had nothing to do with the ball. Schar was found to have hit the Chilean player in the head, and Craig Pawson fired him for violent behavior, which is a three-game ban.
Because Brereton Diaz shoved Schar in the back, Schar first pushed Diaz and then stood up to him. After coming face-to-face with Schar, the Saints player fell to the ground in a big way, which got Pawson a red card.
Eddie Howe said last week that the club would be appealing Schar’s firing in order to get his ban shortened. He told the Gazette, “We’ll look at the sending off and everything that goes with it.” We haven’t seen it back yet, but we’ll decide what to do when we do.
“The first thing I thought was that it was soft.” It looks like Fabby was caught by a well-run situation. But I need to see it again before I criticize anyone who was in it.
But that appeal was turned down, so Schar will miss the trip to the Vitality Stadium, their Carabao Cup game against Nottingham Forest, and next weekend’s game at St. James’ Park against Tottenham Hotspur.
Because of when he got the red card, Schar won’t be able to play for Newcastle again until after the September international break. Newcastle United is still waiting to hear from the FA about why their plea did not work.
