Newcastle United’s star player suffered a surgical setback that necessitated a four-month absence. Lewis Hall, a defender for Newcastle United, has undertaken an operation to address a foot injury that will result in his absence for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Hall was unable to participate in Newcastle’s 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month due to a foot injury that was subsequently determined to necessitate season-ending surgery after a specialist consultation. Hall desired to continue playing despite the pain barrier; however, it was determined that the most effective course of action was for the adolescent to undergo an operation.

It is anticipated that Hall will regain his fitness during the preseason in July and be prepared to commence the 2025-26 campaign with Newcastle. Hall had been experiencing a breakthrough season at Newcastle following the definitive transfer of his loan from Chelsea for £28 million last summer.
