Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (PSG) player Kylian Mbappe sends clear transfer message as Arsenal are ready to sign the player at all cost
Mbappe is leaving PSG this summer, most likely for Real Madrid. He has scored 44 goals in 47 games this season.
Even though he said he was leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer, Kylian Mbappe has said that his focus and work ethic are still as strong as ever for the team.
Last year, the superstar told the Parisians that he would not be signing a new deal, and since then, rumors have been growing about what will happen with him. Real Madrid is thought to be the favorite to sign the World Cup winner because few other teams can pay his huge salary demands.
Some teams, like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United, are no longer interested, even though they were already being mentioned. Even though he is leaving, Mbappe has not stopped working at PSG.
His total of goals actually went up with a great goal against Toulouse on Sunday, which was his last game for PSG at the Parc des Princes. After eight minutes, the striker scored the first goal by brilliantly taking a high, lofted ball down on his foot and squeezing it home from the angle after going around the goalie.
The goal was ruled legal by VAR, and Mbappe celebrated by waving his hand at the crowd. He then climbed over the bench to hug Keylor Navas. The way Mbappe plays and scores shows that he is still very driven to do well, even though his team lost to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-finals this month.
Mbappe confirmed that he would be leaving Paris this summer by saying, “I wanted to let you all know that this is my last year at Paris Saint-Germain. I will not be extending my contract, and the adventure will end in a few weeks.”
“Sunday is my last game at the Parc des Princes.” I had the chance and the great honor to be a member of the biggest French club for many years. It made me feel a lot of things. There are many big ones in the world.
Even though I’m not going to play for the team longer, I will still watch every game because I will always be interested in it and keep up with its news.
“First, I want to say thank you, because I wouldn’t have felt half as many emotions without you all.” I’m thankful for that. Thanks to everyone.
“I hope we win one more trophy this year.” We’re going to enjoy the time we have left together, and I promise that I will always love you.
