As Manchester City get ready for their last four Premier League games, Pep Guardiola says Ederson’s injury “doesn’t look good.”

City had to work hard to beat a stubborn Nottingham Forest team that missed three good chances after Josko Gvardiol’s goal. However, when Erling Haaland came on, City’s fears were calmed and an important win in the title race was secured. But Ederson was taken off at halftime after getting medical attention earlier in the game.

And Guardiola said that his goalie wasn’t in good shape. The manager said, “It doesn’t look good,” after the game. The doctor’s appointment is tomorrow. Ederson was later seen leaving the stadium with his arm in a sling. This is the third time this season that he has been hurt as a replacement and had to leave the game.

Ederson was hurt more in a collision with Willy Boly, but neither player got the ball. He was treated on the field. Before Stefan Ortega took his place at halftime, he finished the first half but looked like he was holding his shoulder.

Phil Foden and Ruben Dias were also sick and couldn’t play for City at Forrest. Guardiola did say that Jeremy Doku’s change at halftime was tactical because he wanted Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva to get more touches on the ball in the middle.

There are six days for City to get ready for Wolves’ visit on Saturday, and then there is a week before their trip to Fulham on the next-to-last weekend. After that, they have to go to Tottenham in the middle of the week to play their home game against West Ham. The Blues are aware that if they win their last games, they will beat Arsenal to the title.

Regarding Dias and Foden, Guardiola told Match of the Day, “Ruben had a fever and went to Brighton, but his condition has gotten worse since we got back.” Additionally, Phil explained today that he doesn’t feel well, which is the reason he couldn’t join us.
