An independent Regulatory Commission has handed down sanctions to Portsmouth FC and Southampton FC following a mass confrontation during their EFL Championship clash on Sunday 25 January.
The incident occurred in the 69th minute of the match, when it was alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players refrained from improper and/or provocative conduct.
Both Portsmouth and Southampton admitted the charges brought against them.
After reviewing the case, the Regulatory Commission fined Southampton £50,000, while Portsmouth were handed a £25,000 penalty.
