Newcastle United
Predicted Lineup: Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United F.C on Wednesday 24th April
On Saturday night, Newcastle United will play Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, and they will be trying to get a win away from home. The hosts came into the game after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United, while the Magpies just won a close game 1-0 against Fulham.
That being said, Eddie Howe is likely to choose the 4-3-3 formation. However, he is likely to make a few changes for the next game because Alexander Isak is likely to play again.
4-3-3: How Newcastle United is likely to line up against Crystal Palace
Defenders
Nick Pope will continue to play for the guests between the sticks. In order to keep a clean sheet on Saturday, the English goalkeeper would like to play well.
Eddie Howe is likely to put Fabian Schar and Sven Botman together in the middle of the Magpies’ defense. Their main goal would be to find and close down any gaps that the Palace frontmen might make.
Dan Burn could play as a left wing-back, and Kieran Trippier will fill in as a right wing-back on the other side.
United of Newcastle
Midfield
Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock are likely to start in the middle of the field, while Joelinton will play as an attacking midfielder. It was important for all three to create clear-cut chances for the forwards to score.
Murphy will have to settle for a spot on the bench, but he could come on in the second half if needed.
Foward
On the wings, Allan Saint-Maximin will play down the left wing and Miguel Almiron will play down the right wing.
Alex Isak will play in the middle for Newcastle against Crystal Palace on Saturday. If the striker plays against a defense that has given up eight goals in their last five games across all divisions, he will be hoping to score.
