Predicted lineup for Aberdeen vs. Celtic F.C match, Player to miss, Referee & VAR as Brendan Rodgers delivers key changes

Brendan Rodgers saw over the weekend that Celtic need to get some new attackers this month.

The Hoops barely beat St. Mirren on Flag Day, but replacement Luke McCowan saved the day with a shot that went into the corner.

Adam Idah was put in as the centre striker, and Yang Hyun-jun started on the right wing. But neither player put on a very good performance.

Rodgers doesn’t make any changes to the defence or middle.

It will stay the same for Celtic in the back four, and Kasper Schmeichel will keep his spot in goal.

Kieran Tierney is back to full health after getting hurt against the Buddies, but Jahmai Simpson-Pusey shouldn’t make his debut right away because it’s too early.

Captain Callum McGregor will sit in the middle of the pitch, and Reo Hatate and Benjamin Nygren will help him out.

When does Aberdeen vs. Celtic start?
For the Scottish Premiership game against Aberdeen on August 10, Celtic will go to Pittodrie. The game starts at 12:30 BST.

The Celtic team and injury news
Rodgers gave a quick and easy answer when asked how his Celtic team is doing before they play Aberdeen.

He told reporters on Friday that he doesn’t have any new injuries. This means that Kieran Tierney is fully healed from the problem he had against St. Mirren. Jota stays out of the picture.

Referee and VAR
The referees for the game between Aberdeen and Celtic have been announced by the SFA. John Beaton will be the judge on the pitch, and David McGeachie and Graeme Stewart will help him.

Yang quit to go with James Forrest
Even though Adam Idah has annoyed Celtic fans, Rodgers said the striker’s showing last week was “excellent.”
