Even though Jurrien Timber is making progress toward a comeback for Arsenal, he will not be participating in the team’s Premier League match against Wolves tonight.
After suffering a knee injury in the first Premier League match of the season, the defender has not been able to participate in any of the games since then.
Despite the fact that Timber is making good progress in his rehabilitation and has resumed his training, he is not yet ready to play for the first team.
It has been disclosed by Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, that the objective is for the Dutchman to initially participate in the club’s young squad.
According to Arteta, “He is going to play a game with the 23s, and after that, we will have a better understanding of how he is feeling.”
He appears to be doing pretty well in training, but this is the final major stage, and we need to determine whether or not he is prepared and how things are going to proceed.
