President Donald Trump has requested that a special prosecutor investigate the results of the 2020 election.

In a post on Truth Social, the president stated that the special prosecutor should investigate the evidence of alleged fraud.

This week, the FBI director disclosed that the Chinese regime may have conspired to influence the 2020 election results. In response, President Donald Trump on Friday called for a special counsel to investigate the results and once again accused of deception.

Trump, while claiming that there have been no border crossings in the past month, urged the Department of Justice to designate a special prosecutor and conduct an investigation into the 2020 election.

“The evidence is both overwhelming and extensive.” A Special Prosecutor must be appointed. He wrote on the social media platform Truth Social, “This cannot be permitted to occur again in the United States of America!”
Following FBI Director Kash Patel’s announcement that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) allegedly engaged in a ballot conspiracy to mass-produce fabricated driver’s licenses during the 2020 election, Trump published his post.

Patel stated in a post on the social media platform X on June 16 that the FBI has discovered documents that contain alarming allegations regarding the 2020 U.S. election, including allegations of interference by the CCP. “I have immediately declassified the material and transferred the documents to [Chairman] Grassley for additional review.” The Senate Judiciary Committee is chaired by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).

President Donald Trump has requested that a special prosecutor investigate the results of the 2020 election.

Patel did not furnish additional information regarding the allegations concerning the 2020 presidential election or the CCP’s purported interference. In an email statement to The Epoch Times this week, Grassley’s office informed the publication that he has received an FBI document in response to a request he submitted based on legally protected whistleblower disclosures.
The statement also stated that Grassley is pursuing additional information from the FBI to verify the document’s production, as the document alleges serious national security concerns that require a comprehensive investigation.

According to his office, the intelligence information report was generated by the Albany Field Office of the agency and is dated September 2020. Grassley also sent a letter to Patel on Tuesday, in which he requested additional information regarding the FBI’s handling of the September 2020 intelligence report.
Patel reported to Just the News earlier this week that the documents and report he submitted to Grassley and his committee contained “allegations of plans from the CCP to manufacture fake driver’s licenses and ship them into the United States for the purpose of facilitating fraudulent mail-in ballots.”
He suggested that he believes the allegations to be “unsubstantiated,” but he also noted that they were “abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public.”

President Joe Biden, a Democrat, was proclaimed the winner of the 2020 presidential election. Trump has frequently asserted on social media and elsewhere that he was the legitimate winner of the election against Biden and has challenged the results in certain states, alleging voter fraud.

A Trump-backed proposal filed by the state of Texas to invalidate results in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania was rejected by the Supreme Court in December 2020, approximately one month after the election. The electoral ballots of those states were certified to Biden as the winner. The high court determined that Texas lacked the legal authority to challenge the other states.

In 2023, Trump was indicted by the district attorney’s office in Fulton County, Georgia, and by a former special counsel, Jack Smith, on allegations that he inappropriately attempted to overturn the 2020 election results. Ultimately, both cases were dismissed after Trump entered a plea of not guilty to the allegations.

In a 2021 letter to Congress, John Ratcliffe, the current director of the CIA under President Trump, claimed that the CCP attempted to interfere in the 2020 election.
