Rangers against Livingston: preview featuring match predictions, the latest team updates, and expected lineups from both sides

Rangers will be looking to continue their positive run of form in the Scottish Premiership when they welcome bottom-placed Livingston on Saturday.

Danny Rohl’s team have climbed into fourth place after stringing together encouraging league results, while Livingston sit at the foot of the table with only eight points to their name.

The newly promoted side have had a difficult return to the top tier, collecting just eight points from their opening 12 matches. Their record so far stands at one win, five draws and six defeats.

Although Livingston began the season brightly — advancing from their Scottish League Cup group with three victories and a single loss, followed by a draw and a win in their opening league games — things quickly unravelled.
A 2–0 League Cup exit to Hibernian halted their progress, and they have not managed to win any of their 10 league fixtures since then, suffering six losses and four draws.
Overall, they are now winless in 11 games across all competitions and urgently need points to avoid falling further behind in the relegation fight.

Their hopes of getting anything at Ibrox are not promising, however. Livingston have not beaten Rangers in any of their last 22 meetings, losing 20 of those encounters.
