Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe clears the air and make Cristiano Ronaldo claim making a difference against Real Betis
Kylian Mbappe scored two goals as Real Madrid beat Real Betis 2-0 over the weekend. He had gone three league games without scoring or setting up a goal. Carlo Ancelotti’s team didn’t play their best, but they still got the win, which should help them get back on track after a rough start to the season.
Mbappe must be happy to score his first goal in La Liga. These should be the first of many for the French winner of the World Cup.
Mbappe has always said that Real Madrid is his dream team and that Cristiano Ronaldo was his childhood hero. He is under a lot of pressure to do well in the Royal White outfit.
But Mbappe has made it clear that he doesn’t want to be the next Ronaldo. He cares more about the team and being Kylian. According to a tweet from MadridXtra, the Frenchman said:
“Cristiano is my hero, but I don’t think about the stress of taking over for him.” I want to buy Kylian. I only want pressure on myself and my team.
Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid puts Cristiano Ronaldo on the spot with a claim
Ronaldo did so much for Real Madrid that it’s almost impossible to do the same thing. Mbappe is a great player, but he’s not as good at scoring goals as the great Portuguese player was in his prime. That’s just the truth of the matter.
For now, Mbappe still needs to win his first Champions League and Ballon d’Or. Ronaldo had won both of them before he played for Real Madrid.
Mbappe, on the other hand, has done much better on the world stage. He has already won one World Cup, and he almost won two in a row, but Argentina beat them in the final in 2022, even though he scored an amazing hat trick.
In the end, there’s no reason to compare Mbappe to Ronaldo or put pressure on the French player to be like his hero. He will be writing his own story at Real Madrid, and let’s hope it’s just as interesting.
