Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti reveals the reason why Cristiano Ronaldo is the most easiest player to coach
Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has explained why it’s easy to teach Cristiano Ronaldo. The Italian teacher, who has been coaching for almost 30 years, thinks that managing the Portuguese superstar is a lot easier than most people think.
Even though Ronaldo is known for being a difficult player because of his ego, Ancelotti disagrees and says that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner actually makes the job easier.
The two worked together for two years, and in the 2013–14 season, they won La Decima, which was the club’s 10th Champions League win.
Transfermarkt says that the 39-year-old scored an amazing 112 goals in 101 games while Ancelotti was manager. During this time, CR7 won the Ballon d’Or in both 2013 and 2014, which shows how well they worked together. Ronaldo had a lot of respect for Ancelotti, so he was very upset when the Italian was fired as Real Madrid’s manager in 2015. Later, the now-captain of Al-Nassr told the Spanish newspaper Marca through All Football that he wanted to work with Ancelotti again and called him a “big teddy bear.”
In 2024, Ancelotti has continued to praise his former star player and talk about how well they worked together. The veteran gave more details about their friendship and talked about why teaching Ronaldo is easy.
