Reason why Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off the pitch during Al Hilal vs Al Nassr FC

Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for what looked like a chest elbow to an opponent.

The 39-year-old former star of Manchester United was playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Super Cup when the fight broke out.

After Salem Al-Dawsari and former Barcelona star Malcom scored goals to put the other team ahead 2-0, Ronaldo lost his temper.

After taking the ball out of play, Ali Al-Bulayhi, a defender for Al-Hilal, tried to stop the Portuguese player from getting it for a quick throw-in.

Al-Bulayhi seemed to face Ronaldo when he pushed him out of the way.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner seemed to hit his opponent in the chest with his elbow at this point.

Al-Bulayhi, who is 34 years old, fell down in a heap, and players from both teams ran over to help him right away.

Before Aymeric Laporte tried to make peace, Kalidou Koulibaly rushed in and was pushed.

When the referee showed Ronaldo the red card, the forward moved his arms as if he wanted to punch the official with the ball.

After making fun of the ref, he gave him a thumbs up and pointed at Al-Bulayhi, who was still squished together.

During a Saudi Pro League match last year, Ronaldo said that the 34-year-old player was playing.

In that case, Al-Bulayhi was the one who got sent off after getting two yellow cards.

The experienced back has also been in fights with Lionel Messi and Son Heung-min.

During the 2022 World Cup match between Saudi Arabia and Argentina, Al-Bulayhi scolded Messi, telling him, “You won’t win.”

Saudi Arabia won the game 2-1, but Messi and his team got the last laugh by winning the event.

This year, during the Asian Cup, Saudi Arabia played South Korea. During that game, Al-Bulayhi pushed Son.

When they talked, the Tottenham star didn’t answer, instead smiled as they did so.

Then it looked like Al-Bulayhi pulled Son’s hair, but the forward didn’t do anything.

Even though Ronaldo was sent off, Sadio Mane scored to get Al-Nassr back in the game.

But in the end, they lost 2-1. The league winners, Al-Hilal, went on to beat Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup final.
