Bernardo Silva was one of the Manchester City players who tried to stop an invasion of the field in the last few seconds of their title-winning win over West Ham United.
The fourth year in a row, City will win the Premier League after beating West Ham 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s team had a 2-0 lead in the first half thanks to two goals from Phil Foden. However, Mohamed Kudus’s overhead kick put the game in danger.
That’s when the real party started: Rodri scored to give City a two-goal lead again just before the hour mark. That was the result, so there were no changes made to what was going on at the Emirates Stadium, where Arsenal beat Everton 2-1.
Around the field, people were getting more and more excited as extra time went on. And even though there were a lot of officials there, some fans started to move to the edge of the field to wait.
The game had to be stopped for a short time while the people were led back. Because of that, Silva and some of his friends got angry.
The midfielder walked up to a group of fans and yelled and pointed at them to move back and stay off the field. There were a few more seconds of play before the end of the game.
That led to a full-field attack, and the players ran to the tunnel. That short time was criticized by Gary Neville, an analyst and pundit for Sky Sports.
“Why are they there?” “Trust me,” he said. “Their own fans are even booing them.”

“Everyone from City is yelling at them to go back to the stands.” Also, they’re not kids; they’re around forty-year-old men.
