Reason why Manchester United defender Harry Maguire was removed from the England squad for the upcoming EURO 2024

The defender Harry Maguire, who plays for Manchester United, will not be included in England’s team of 26 players for the European Championships that will take place this summer.

After Gareth Southgate cut seven players from England’s squad for the European Championships this summer, Harry Maguire has expressed his “devastation” at not being included in the team. Maguire was one of the seven players who were cut.

Due to a calf injury, the defender, who is 31 years old, was unable to play for United in the final four games of the Premier League season as well as the FA Cup final in which they defeated Manchester City.

After it was announced that he would not be included in the 26-man squad that would go to Germany later this month, Magure expressed his disappointment on social media by writing, “I am devastated not to have been selected to play for England at the Euros this summer.”

When asked about his plans for the preseason, Maguire stated, “Next, I will return to the supervision of the Manchester United medical team in order to prepare for the following season.”
I have been unable to recover from an injury to my calf, despite the fact that I have made every attempt to do so. Perhaps in my attempt to succeed, I exerted too much pressure on myself.

“I couldn’t be more devastated,” she said. In my opinion, being able to represent England is the greatest honor. It is of the utmost importance to me. Even if I am unable to contribute to the team in any way as a player, I will continue to cheer for them as a fan, just like the rest of the country. Have a good time, you guys!
