A match between Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen is being played at the Emirates Stadium. Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber are not on the team.

Calafiori was expected to make his debut soon after moving from Bologna for £42 million. After getting to the United States just a few days before Arsenal’s last pre-season game against Liverpool, he wasn’t able to play.

But he won’t be at Emirates Stadium for the game against the Bundesliga winners. However, the Italian is still behind his teammates even though he trains with them at London Colney.

Timber is also not playing because of a small problem. He is still recovering from an ACL injury he got at the beginning of last season. People don’t think it’s a big deal for the Dutch star.

Following their time with Spain and France, David Raya and William Saliba are put right back into the starting lineup against Leverkusen. Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka, all three from England, are also back, but they will stay on the bench.

Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson are also involved, even though rumors say they want to move out of north London. There are also young players like Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, Josh Nichols, Ayden Heaven, and Tommy Setford on the bench.
