Tottenham reportedly just concluded a transfer conference and are now intent on acquiring a “magnificent” Everton player in January.Reportedly, Tottenham Hotspur met this week to discuss defensive targets during a transfer meeting; Jarrad Branthwaite of Everton is among those on their radar.

According to The Daily Mail, Spurs may seek a replacement center-back in January in the wake of Micky van de Ven’s injury. Ange Postecoglou’s central defense is ominously depleted, as both Cristian Romero and Van de Ven are sidelined until the new year.

Last time out against Wolves, the Australian manager was obliged to name a makeshift backline due to the fact that Eric Dier and Ben Davies started at center-back.

Spurs are widely anticipated to add depth of quality at the position through acquisitions, and it appears they are considering a move for Everton youth Jarrad Branthwaite.

Sting desires Branthwaite.

Marc Guehi and Branthwaite of Crystal Palace are reportedly both on the radar of Tottenham, per The Mail.

It has come to light that Spurs met this week to deliberate on potential winter transfer targets for defenders.

This follows Van de Ven’s hamstring injury suffered earlier this month against Chelsea, and Eric Dier’s contract is due to expire next summer.

Branthwaite has amassed ten Premier League appearances this season, demonstrating his prowess under Sean Dyche.Due to his impressive performances at Goodison Park, he is reportedly attracting interest from a number of premier clubs, Newcastle included.

It would be extremely surprising, however, if Branthwaite were to depart Everton in January.

Following last week’s 10-point deduction, the Toffees are in a struggle to remain in the Premier League.

Additionally, Everton have initiated contract discussions with the teenager, and Spurs would likely have to make a substantial offer to entice him away from Merseyside.
