Report: Which players will emerge victorious at Lyng? The preview for the fourth round of the 2025 ACU Eastern Motocross Championship

Since the beginning of this season, the usual suspects have been competing for supremacy at the head of the Expert Class. Former champion Luke Benstead, who is now experiencing a rebirth at the top of the table, has arrived at the Norfolk location to face off against the other competitors. From the three championship races that took place at the previous round, he emerged from Wattisfield with a 19-point edge over Sam Nunn, who was the reigning champion. He won two of the races and finished in second place. This season, Max Broadbelt and Shaun Southgate have both been in a position to win races. With only 54 points separating the top four riders and 75 points available on the day, the leading four riders had a rather small margin of victory. Calum Mitchell and Declan Whittle, both of whom are professionals with the Norwich Vikings, have the potential to be the wild cards that might potentially steal a significant number of points away from Cadders Hill. On one of the most difficult motocross tracks in the United Kingdom, the afternoon was going to be filled with intense competition.

Alfie Geddes-Green has been the champion of the Junior class throughout this season, winning no less than six of the nine races that have been run up to this point. He has been the star of the show. Only Travis Bixby and James Wadsworth, who are now in third and fourth place in the standings, returned to the field after the chequered flag was displayed at the conclusion of a moto. They are the only other riders to participate in this event. Alex Christopher is currently in second place, exactly on par with Bixby, and is only nine points ahead of both Wadsworth and James Rowell simultaneously. Again, it is going to be a really competitive set of three races for the winners’ laurels at the end of the day, and it isn’t going to be something that is going to be easy for people who aren’t willing to take risks!

In addition to the nearly two hundred riders who have signed up, there is a full 15-race schedule that includes six championship races and support events for the riders who are qualifying for races that are not championships. Beginning at nine o’clock in the morning, practice and timed qualifying will begin. The first expert championship race is scheduled to begin at roughly ten forty-five minutes, while the first Junior Championship race is scheduled to begin at eleven ten minutes.
