Rio Ferdinand reveals his reason why he feels Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and the 47-year-old Brazilian former professional footballer Ronaldo de Lima are not in good terms with Cristiano Ronaldo
Rio Ferdinand, who used to play for Manchester United, explained why he thinks Thierry Henry “has beef” with Cristiano Ronaldo.
There were six years when Ronaldo played with Ferdinand at Old Trafford.
He played for Arsenal from 1999 to 2007 and then moved to Barcelona.
But Henry did play against Ronaldo a few times in the Premier League before he left.
Ferdinand talked on a show about how Henry and Ronaldo de Lima, a famous Brazilian football player, feel about Cristiano Ronaldo.
When asked about Ronaldo, Ferdinand told Andreas Poke, “You know, there’s beef there somewhere.” It has to do with the name. That’s why I think he did it—as if to say, “You stole my name, so I don’t like you.”
He also said this about Henry: “It’s the same with Thierry [Henry].” Jean-Pierre is the same. It’s more what Thierry doesn’t say about Cristiano when I hear him talk. He doesn’t get excited when he talks about him.
“He seems to play down Cristiano a lot. It was caught on video at Highbury when Henry hit him on the back of the head and Cristiano pushed him off.
