Robert Lewandowski’s injury has been confirmed by Barcelona following their remarkable victory over Celta Vigo.

Robert Lewandowski has been declared inactive by Barcelona due to a groin injury sustained during the 4-3 victory over Celta Vigo in La Liga on Sunday. He would be unable to work for a few weeks due to a hamstring injury. After the veteran undertook additional injury testing, Barcelona has now provided an update.

The club’s official statement is as follows: Lewandowski is not included. An apparent modification would be to include Ferran Torres, who has scored 17 goals for Barcelona in all competitions this season. Robert Lewandowski, a member of the first team, has been diagnosed with a left semitendinosus injury following the completion of tests on Sunday.

His return will be contingent upon his advancement. The injury occurs at an inopportune moment for both Barcelona and Lewandowski. It is anticipated that he will be absent for approximately three weeks and will be unable to participate in several significant games, such as the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.
