Rodgers Provides an Explanation for His Favourite St. Mirren Victory Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has expressed his satisfaction with the Hoops’ 5-2 victory over St Mirren at the SMiSA Stadium, which increased their lead at the summit of the Scottish Premiership to 16 points.

Rodgers was effusive in his admiration for his players following their dominant performance against St Mirren, which was Celtic’s third match of the week. After the match, the Celtic manager acknowledged that it was one of his most cherished victories of the season.

“The third game of the week is scheduled to take place here, and the pitch is challenging due to the well-organised nature of the opposing team. They bring a physicality to the game,” he explained. Celtic’s Clinical PerformanceCeltic were able to secure an additional three points in their title pursuit by scoring five goals, despite these challenges.
Celtic’s performance was clinical. Rodgers was especially delighted with the manner in which his team responded and executed their game plan, emphasising the importance of such a decisive victory. He continued, “So to come here and score five goals and make the impact that we did was so satisfying.”
Rangers Experience a Setback at Ibrox Stadium The circumstances of Celtic’s victory was even more delightful, as it occurred mere hours after Rangers suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Motherwell. Celtic has established a commanding position as the season advances, as they are now 16 points ahead of Rangers at the summit of the table following their 5-2 victory.
Rodgers will be eager to maintain Celtic’s momentum and maintain their concentration as they strive to secure another Premiership title. It is evident that the Hoops are on the cusp of another successful campaign, as Rodgers continues to enhance his team’s impressive performance with their most recent victory.
