Rodri, Andres Iniesta, Declan Rice and Ederson Moraes sents a message full of praises to Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden after he wins PFA Players’ Player of the Year award
Phil Foden, who is 24 years old, has had a great career so far.
Many people think that Foden’s old team, Manchester City, is one of the best teams in the world. He is one of their best players.
The man who makes £225,000 a week has won every club trophy there is. If he keeps getting awards like this, he could become one of the most decorated players in football history.
The English player has also had the chance to grow under Pep Guardiola since he was a youngster. This is something that millions of young football players around the world would have dreamed of.
The Stockport-born midfielder also starts for England, even though his country has a lot of great attackers at their hands.
On Tuesday, the Manchester City expert won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award, which is chosen by other Premier League players. This shows how much his teammates respect him.
Ederson is from Rodri, a teammate of Foden’s at Manchester City, said that Foden earned the award because he carried City’s hopes for the Premier League title last season.
Andres Iniesta also told Foden how happy he was that he won the award.
Midfielder Declan Rice, who plays for Arsenal and England, thought Foden “fully deserved” the award as well.
That being said, a number of other players have sent their congratulations to the five-time Premier League winner.
One of them was Ederson Moraes, who wrote “What a player” and a bunch of emojis on Foden’s Instagram post where he was celebrating getting the award.
John Stones wrote, “What a player!” and Joao Cancelo just wrote, “Starboy!”
Phil Foden should aim to win the award again.
Foden’s main goals should be to help Manchester City win as many titles as possible and get even better as a player. He should also aim to win the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award again.
Kevin De Bruyne, Thierry Henry, and Cristiano Ronaldo are the only players to have won the award in back-to-back seasons. The City school graduate would be thrilled to be in such well-known company.
For Foden, it will be harder to do than to say.
This is not impossible, though, because the attacker is in great shape after being versatile last season, and he plays for a great team with a world-class boss.
An interesting thing to watch is to see if Foden will be in the running to win the award again.
